Vous ne le savez peut-être pas mais je suis une grande fan d'highlighter, j'en possède un petit nombre mais je n'avais pas encore trouvé la perle rare qui me donnerait un glow frais, très radiant et adapté à ma carnation très pâle... Vu toutes mes demandes, il était difficile de se cantonner à un seul produit, je devais sans cesse mélanger plusieurs poudres illuminatrices. Jusqu'à ce que tombe sur la palette Solstice de Sleek Makeup qui depuis quelques mois est une grande favorite chez les youtubeurs anglophones principalement.
You may don't know the fact that I'm a huge highlighter fan ! I own a lot of different products but I didn't find the perfect highlighting product that give me a fresh glow, really radiant and mostly adapted to my pale skin... I used different products to arrived to the result I wanted on my skin. Until I found this palette from Sleek Makeup, which is for month a big favorite for english speaking youtubers !
Niveau packaging, je suis vraiment épatée par la marque Sleek ! D'habitude leurs palettes sont en plastique noir mat très résistant, hors là nous avons devant nous une petite palette en plastique doré brillant, lui aussi très résistant et tellement beau ! Un vrai bijoux dans ma collection de makeup, je ne crois pas avoir un packaging aussi beau que celui-ci si l'on parle de beauté simple, sans ornements quelconques.
I'm really impressed by the packaging of the palette ! Normally, their palettes are made in a matte black plastic really resistant, but here we are in front of a small golden palette in stron pastic too. It's very precious and beautiful ! I don't think I own another piece of collection as beautiful as this one : simple and without any decoration.
La palette en elle-même propose 4 highlighter : 3 poudres et un fard crème, ainsi qu'un pinceau que personnellement je n'utilise pas maisqui pourrait être pratique lorsque l'on part en voyage ! Le premier fard en haut à gauche est le seul fard crème de la palette, assez crémeux, pas collant du tout et d'une couleur champagne assez classique parfaite pour toutes les occasions ! Le fard du dessous est un sorte d'hybride entre poudre et crème d'une couleur jaune très lumineuse. Les deux dernières poudres sont très irisées, très lumineuses et aux nombreux reflets. J'aime beaucoup le fait qu'il y ait une couleur pêche et une couleur lavande, on a le même fini mais avec une couleur soit chaude, soit froide. C'est une palette vraiment complète pour toute l'année et toutes les occasions !
The palette itself is composed by 4 highlighters : 3 powder ones and one cream highlighter and a brush I personnaly don't use but it could become practical when on vacation ! The first one at the top on the left side is the only cream one in this palette, really creamy, not sticky and colored in a beautiful champagne color, perfect dor every occasion ! The on on the bottom is kind of an hybrid because it's a powder highlighter but creamy-ish in a yellow tone really radiant.
The two last highlighters are the powder ones : really iridescent, luminous and with a lot of shine. I like the fact that these two colors are in the same formulation but one in a peachy color (warm) and the other one in a lavender color (cold). This palette is complete for all the occasions and all seasons of the year !
Venons-en à une partie très importante quand on parle de poudres et qui plus est, de poudres illuminatrices : la pigmentation. La marque Sleek est connue pour proposer des palettes plutôt bien pigmentées à très bas prix pour une haute qualité. Mais en aucun cas je ne m'attendais à cette pigmentation de folie que propose cette palette Solstice ! Des reflets par miliers, une lumière exceptionnelle et surtout, un glow immédiat dès le premier passage ! Qu'un seul mot à dire : Wow !
Let's talk about one of the most important think when you're reviewing an highlighting product : the pigmentation. I didn't expect this kind of pigmentation ! I'm impressed by the brand that normally sells well pigmented eyeshadows, but here we are in front of very luminous powders with the perfect color in one swatch ! Only one thing to say : Wow !
